# Fan-model provenance

Magikarp, Solo Form Wishiwashi and Slugma are fan-model adaptations, not vanilla Minecraft mobs. Pinned distribution: Pokemon-3D-api/assets at 429de1288cea0d43f5b4f56305d2276e94239d65, models/opt/regular/129.glb, 746.glb, 218.glb. Exact hashes and source inspection are in docs/minecraft/qa/expanded-world/assets/inspection.json.

Slugma retains the source attribution: nguyenlouis32, https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/slugma-7a9f5f9aa4f5450d9c213aa3d59bb854 , uploader CC-BY 4.0 claim. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ . Original fish creator/game provenance is unresolved: these files carry no creator/license metadata. The distribution repository's MIT license does not establish original model or Pokémon franchise rights. No purchases or private account/session extraction were used. Pokémon characters belong to their respective owners.

All downloaded models contain zero animation clips. Magikarp's original rig is retained; swimming and Slugma's surface undulation are authored interpretations. Wishiwashi stays Solo Form and uses localized tail deformation. No claim of official game animation or perfect fidelity is made. Original geometry, materials and texture maps are retained; normalization and animation are runtime adaptations. Magcargo was inspected but omitted to keep the chamber sparse.

## Additional small residents

Pinned to the same distribution commit: `models/opt/regular/118.glb` (Goldeen), `116.glb` (Horsea), `490.glb` (Manaphy). Goldeen and Horsea are credited in the actual assets to **nguyenlouis32** under the uploader's [CC-BY4.0 claim](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/): [Goldeen source](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/goldeen-02d409c494c34ca9afe5bade3fd0f8d6), [Horsea source](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/horsea-8a1d64ba63eb4740bc24bc353d208ff4). Manaphy is credited to **seth the yutyrannus** under the same uploader license: [source titled pokemon x y manaphy](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/pokemon-x-y-manaphy-8f109dec61c649e39475d605405219b8). This source-game claim and franchise-owner permission remain unverified.

All three retain downloaded geometry/materials and have zero animation clips. Goldeen and Horsea are unrigged; Manaphy's50-joint rig and nine mesh nodes are retained. Runtime modifications normalize scale and author localized fin/tail motion or append bone rotations while preserving source rest transforms. These are adaptations, not official game animations. Exact hashes, actual rendered pixels and provenance are recorded in `docs/minecraft/qa/expanded-world/gen1-release/asset-review.md`. Manaphy is Mythical. Its10% scene-generation visit chance and all shiny probabilities are site-specific rules rather than official encounter rates.

## Volcanic residents

Salandit by [LunaEagle](https://sketchfab.com/LunaEagle), [source](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/salandit-72928f8b4cf747d9a5286fc3e7b5eeb7); Magmar by [nguyenlouis32](https://sketchfab.com/nguyenlouis32), [source](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/magmar-b721b3fa34e64d4c98b0a0f0792c4308). Both assets embed the uploader's [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) attribution. Retained source hashes and public mirror provenance: [manifest](salandit-magmar-provenance.json). Runtime changes normalize scale, restore missing colors/eyes/flame masks and author anatomical deformation; Salandit's shiny palette preserves orange markings. Neither source contains a rig or animation clips. Original source files retain all detail.

The site chooses one or two dry-ledge residents per scene: 45% chance of a second slot, 10% scene chance of Magmar replacing the first resident, otherwise a 70% Salandit / 30% Slugma first-slot choice. Salandit has a 50% shiny chance and Slugma 20%. These are website defaults, not game odds. Slugma is optional. Resizing, scrolling and dragging do not reroll the roster; a completed TNT reset starts a new creature generation.
